Any amateur photographer who wants to get better at the craft of taking pictures should seriously think about joining Flickr.
Flickr is not only a place to store and showcase your pictures online, but it is also a great place to learn and get inspired.
Just with the Groups on Flickr you can spend hours browsing to see what you might be capable of with the gear you have. Whatever camera you own, there's a group. whatever type of photography you do, there's a group. You name it it's in there and if it's not, you can create it yourself and like minded people will join you soon enough.
